For decades, Iβve never been able to see a Circle K without telling anyone within earshot, βstrange things are afoot at the Circle K.β Itβs like an involuntary tick.
When is Freaked getting a Criterion release? I have it on laserdisc, and I'd gladly pay Criterion prices for a commentary track. These are dark times, and we all need that ray of sunshine.
It's a fun one. I enjoyed it. Lots of humorous moments and mostly just dumb fun. I appreciate that you guys brought back those classic characters, and you both were excellent in your roles
I really wasn't expecting when I watched the first two movies, "these movies are going to give us men with big goddamned hearts" but yet here we are β€β€
I loved this! When it came out to buy at home I called up a friend who I'd seen the original with and we watched it together. It was pretty awesome. MANY laugh out loud moments in this movie and a great heart.
I saw the first in theaters when it came out, and have been a huge fan of both of you ever since. Face the Music had all the heart and charm that I fell in love with. It's a great movie and worthy of it's pedigree.
I have the DVD, and it is truly excellent. The whole trilogy is perfect for lifting the mood, no matter how bleak. I first saw II after some heartbreak or other at university. I don't even remember the girl's name but I still remember the thrill of a truly joyous film.
Bill and Ted's philosophy "Be excellent to each other" should be, must be, the foundation of a new civilization. It's that or extinction. We need Bill and Ted more than ever
I recently watched the first 2 with my boy having been obsessed myself as a young teenager. They totally stand up and I'm looking forward to seeing this one! Then to discover you're seemingly also a Good Egg on Bluesky? Wow! Party on Dude!
Been a fan of the movies since I saw the first one as a kid. Hanging out this weekend with a sick kiddo so maybe it's time to introduce the next generation to the excellence of B&T. It will be most triumphant. #partyondudes
My dad was a History teacher for over 25 years in Chicago, when your movie came out he loved it. He used to say it was a great way to show how interesting history is and engage them in discussion, he showed to every one of his classes for 15 years.
I had hoped that in the last movie Bill would have a day job as a lawyer - a throwback to introducing himself in the first move as "Bill S. Preston, Esq."
This is one of the few films that kept a smile on my face from the opening shot to the closing credits. It hit all the perfect notes of nostalgia, randomness and comedy for me. Plus it boasts a great cast. I'd consider Bill and Ted Face The Music go be a perfect film.
Showed my almost 8 year old the whole trilogy, finishing with Face the Music last night. Couldnβt get him into Star Wars, but he loved Bill & Ted πΈπ
I wanted this movie all my life. I put together two live shows in 2018 in my hometown of Winnipeg where my friends and I performed the songs of Wyld Stallyns (songs from the first two soundtracks). One of my proudest accomplishments.
I enjoyed Face the Music so much, it's a great way to bookend the story. I only wish it had been held back by the studios until theaters were viable again.
I remember our pandemic movie group was so stoked to all watch this together when it came out. I'll always associate it with a bit of light in the darkness as a result
That was the first movie I ever paid money to buy digitally. It came at a good time. We even went camping that summer and downloaded it to watch again. A bear came through the woods while we were watching it and my dog freaked out & we went into the car.
My whole family really enjoyed this when it came out. It got my kids to watch the other movies, bringing gen Alpha into the fold of these great movies.
With 4-5 minute long commercial breaks on Tubi, no thank you, I'd rather watch network TV than this! Tubi may have some good movies, but there's almost as many commercials as there is movie!
I was just thinking about the original we saw in the theater & I was also quoting the second one this a.m. when Every Rose Has a Thorn played on the local radio. Perfect timing.

The Bogus Journey came out and I watched that in the theater 3 times.
I say with no shame I teared up at the end of Face the Music
Thank you for making one more for us fans
Sorry.
But for everyone else, definitely give them a watch!
Thatβs kalen in the middle !
Followed on BlueSky now too. And thanks for the movie tip.
Have a most excellent day!
Thanks for the distraction!
That Tubi?
Passing on Fox-Tubi, will catch it somewhere else.
sweet picture
no commercials
It makes me happy.
You both are wonderfully wholesome, and humanity is lucky to have you on our side.

Be excellent to each other.
station.
I like stories...
My favourite is Bogus. Led me to the Seventh Seal.
The part with the buckets made my stomach hurt.
It's so nice that you're not leading a sex cult or hawking crypto shit.
