Just a tiny bit of digging shows that trans athletes seem to basically play at about the level of their competition with no inherent advantage. Riley Gaines became famous because she was mad she missed out on 5th(?!?!) place.

Some things are true. Some things are not. So about the 80 mph volleyball spike claimed for a trans athlete, here's what really happened. From @mingemi.bsky.social www.sfchronicle.com/sports/colle...

Or, if they’d said to both women: 5th place isnt trophy worthy, morons
Obviously, that's attenuated by transgender medicine, but to what extent? Unknowable, but certainly an inherent advantage if it's not 100% attenuated. No?
1. Competition isn’t merely about who wins, it could be who gets a college scholarship in that sport.
2. Almost every athlete is cisgender.
3. If you’re an elite male athlete, there’s greater social pressure that will dissuade you from seeking transgender medicine.
That probably dissuades the elite athletes from transgender care.
Also the whole Olympics thing was being mad a female boxer (afab) rocked the shit out of an amateur who was prettier than her.
it's always interesting that "being trans is an enormous, insurmountable advantage" and "there are too many trans women in sports" never seems to need to answer for "none of them have ever won gold"
Why can't you not care about shit that doesn't pertain to you instead of doing something meaningful?
