Said goodbye to my dad today, and sent him on his way. A really lovely day with family and friends. Was pleased to find this poem that summed things up perfectly:

I'm pleased you found comfort and had a good day... it's weird isn't it, the people you have known your whole life because they were mates of one's parents come and tell you things you really had no idea of. Be kind to yourself, though.
