I have the hybrid and love it! My house was built in the late 40s, early 50s and can’t handle a charging station. I’m just saying please include hybrids because they are also a really good option!

Our house was built in 1928, but our garage is new. When we renovated it my husband had the foresight to upgrade the electrical system so that we could install a level 2 charger.

My mom and I don’t have that kind of money. We had to move the electrical box from where it was originally installed (on the other side of the shower!) to a safer place. We live in an area where many of the houses were built like this.

I parked my Kia Niro EV next to a Ford F-150 Lightning at the charger bank at work yesterday. It's a Big Dumb Truck, but it's also a lot less stupid looking than a Cybertruck and a whole hell of a lot more functional for people who actually need a truck to do truck things.

At least in CA, most of the people who've gotten Teslas in the past couple years (since Elon kicked his heel turn up a notch) are affluent but not especially politically engaged East and South Asian immigrants. Pointing them to the excellent BMW and Mercedes EVs would be a start.
