I have Jochum’s Eighth on vinyl. Sadly, it was pressed on really noisy vinyl, which was common in the 70s. It’s too bad because it is great musically.

My fave Bruckner. <3 Wand (Lübeck), Suitner, Skrowa, Schuricht, Keilberth, Karajan and, do I dare even say this?, Celibidache. Yes, I like Celi's 8th. It's kind of funny that my usual Bruckner fave of Jochum didn't to my ears do the 8th generally (one exception) all that well.

My introduction to Bruckner was via Haitink, so I always have a soft spot for his recordings. But I did see Wand conduct an excellent performance live at the Festival Hall, so I'd be tempted by that one as well. The tempi in the Celibidache are absolutely mad, so that's good for novelty value.

Very different but both completely natural and right, everything breathes. Boulez is less romantic (as might be expected) especially in the Adagio, but his transparency in sound and his attention to structure make everything have an impact. The finale of Boulez is the best on record (that I know of)

Giulini/Vienna on DG from the late 1980s, the one you have posted in the images.

I've always also enjoyed Haitink's Philips recording from around the same time, which as I recall spins the Adagio out to a full half-hour.

Toss up between Karajan (Berlin) & Jochum (Dresden). Seeing Wand conduct this at the Edinburgh Festival around 25 years ago was one of the highlights of my concert going; he looked so frail as he went to the podium but there was nothing frail about the performance.

Wand's 1979 recording with the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln. It has all his attention to detail, his grasp of the architecture, and the finale is, in places, nothing short of terrifying.
