He took those Jumbo Trons down because he didn't want pictures of his paltry crowd size, didn't he Frank? Funny now he is worried about the safety of Law Enforcement.
I suppose it makes a change from everyone complaining about gas prices, as though they think the Pres has a big dial labelled 'GAS PRICE' behind his desk that he can turn to raise or lower the price at will.
Totally regional. Depends on where you get eggs from and how they’ve been affected by bird flu. Just had to get eggs today at Target (usually one of the cheapest around me), and a dozen was $4.69. 18 count $6.69. Major grocery store slightly more
Every president has run the country into the ground. They all keep finding new ways to hollow out the middle class. It's been bad for decades, so it isn't even a party or bipartisan issue. They're running game and we throw Propaganda at each other
Not sure, but, good pt- yes, gas is cheaper than eggs! For those who are keeping track. I prefer to pay more for less gas & environmental protection/ preservation, than kill everything & destroy the little ozone layer left. But, to each your own, I guess..
Agree but it that were the case we wouldn't have eggs at these prices, because there would be almost no transportation costs. Anyone can raise chickens anywhere in the country as long as their psychotic laws don't ban it.
It depends on where you go. Some places are feeling the effects of the bird flu. My friend said her grocery store is out mine is overflowing with eggs 🤷🏽♀️ no limit per person. Probably depends on where your store gets their eggs
I hope someone is keeping a weekly tab of eggs, gasoline, and other essentials. Something akin to the nightly count of the hostages in Iran in 1980. I really wish Nightline was still around.
Medium in CA at Vons 6.99 Ralph’s 9.99 Target 5.99 is the winner (for large)
Eggs are expensive due to the virus. It’s not the correct indicator yet butter is 3.99/ pound & yogurt 35 cents pre pandemic level. Boxed cake 4.59 for 2. Bread down to 1.50/ loaf.
These are likely better indicators
They’re fine. I’ve been buying up Kroger eggs for the past several weeks. Last week I bought 10 dozen. This week, they set a limit of 2 dozen per customer.
Sorry it's blurry but this isn't letting me post pictures for some reason today that are on my phone so I have to take it with this phone from another phone it's ridiculous
If you ate eggs every single day you saved $150/year depending on where you live, but the amount of atorvastatin would cost $160/year. Dang maybe you saved over $300!
This might be true but where I'm at right now you can't even get eggs unless you want to pay a ridiculous amount of money for them. All thanks to avian flu
I know. it's all noise. This was November. At that price, 2 eggs is .56c per person so with toast and a couple of slices of whatever you eat ( I don't eat bacon), it may cost 2.00 for breakfast. Hardly an issue.
I just paid over $10.00 for an 18 pack. San Diego. Eggs had dropped in price significantly about a year ago, but then in the last few months, have spiked again.
Yeah there was a recent cull of chickens due to Avian Flu! LA might be due to the fire? The recent price increase/fluctuation has nothing to do with Biden/inflation but no one seems to care...
Crime continues to fall overall but nobody cares, either, because they keep getting told it's rampant. A LOT of this is public perception filtered through a MAGA-friendly media.
For sure. I'm not sure why the Dems didn't blame the rise of Avian Flu for the egg price increases during the election. Could have blamed the outbreak on T's 1st term rollbacks on the FDA but was weirdly mute.
2.8 million hens are dead in Stanislaus & Merced counties here in northern California. Similar situation in Riverside and San Bernardino Co.s down south. These are the places where most of CA’s eggs are produced.
I’d like to believe it’s only going to be four years, but they’ve learned too much, and have too much power now. It’s going to be a lot longer than that.
Yep Beaverton. Fred Meyer is 6.99 dz. I'm surprised that they aren't trying to price match better. The last two times I've been to Winco, they've been the worst.
AND Kroger CEO was interviewed after CO ID, asked if he would lower prices & he said...NO!!! I don't shop at Kroger any other! Costco membership is fantastic & Aldi or Piggly for little extras. Bugger off Kroger! WE are the public & WE CAN CHOOSE!!
Wanted Kroger ginger snap cookie, called my brother. he used instacart did a good amount of stuff including eggs, regular price as usual; but Publix their eggs are expensive. My friend is a Publix shopper, I’m a Kroger shopper.
Was upset with them, when they took out senior discount on Wednesdays.
That's weird since a dozen eggs in my neighborhood was nearly $7.00 two days ago. Shocking, actually. I only bought 1/2 dozen for like $2.89 because i can't afford $7.00 for EGGS.
Our grocery store was literally out of eggs today. Delivery scheduled for Tuesday. We are not expecting a blizzard here in Southern California. People are hoarding eggs.
Last week I witnessed a woman bitching about paying $4 for 6 eggs. I walked into the store and found she paid 3.68 for 6 eggs; she could have paid $4.23 for a dozen.
A 2023 WA law required eggs to come from cage free chickens if raised in WA state. I think producers cheat the system and bring in eggs from other states and jack up prices.
Dang... I wish Giant Foods in Mount Joy Lancaster County PA were that price. I kid you not. I just paid $5.99 for 1 dozen... they weren't organic, cage-free, or brown, just large white!!
I have five hens and my eggs are far from free. Right now they are still being fed, but aren't laying. In the summer I get more than I can handle and give a lot away...but for me, they are never free. I don't even want to think about what I actually pay per dozen.
They are free cause they are from my friends hens. I never said having chickens was free. I’m lucky to be able to stay with her when I’m in LA. Fresh eggs are a bonus. I didn’t mean to offend anyone.
Yes. I realized that. My comment was more for others thinking about getting chickens for the eggs thinking they will be cheaper. I have mine as pets first, that I just happen to get eggs from...at least for a few months of the year. I also like being able to give free eggs to others.

Nothing to do with an embarrassingly low turnout.
WI - cage free
Bay Area.
Gas is always higher here in my neck of the woods here in Oregon, too, though. I'm numb to being jealous of other areas!
Most places were over $6 from the bird flu.
This is ridiculous, but my 'hobby' ain't cheap, either🥴
When I was a market vendor, the highest I ever priced a dz was $5. Now, I'd ask $9/dz; $15 for 1/2dz duck eggs. Shitscrazyman.
We'll see next week.
Corporate greed cannot be undone by a president. It couldn't even be addressed by Congress because the MAGAts refused.
And a 12 pack of Kroger large eggs was $4.59 today at Gerbes in Columbia.
#Oligarchy
Surely by tomorrow it’ll be half the price nationwide. Or is he just a liar and they’re just racists?
#TheLastLoneAmericanNight
Avian flu is killing Californians !
At current exchange rate that works out to $7.25 for a dozen.
I dunno what y'all's 'plainin' 'bout.
I’m going tomorrow to buy at least 5-6 dozen.
We go thru a lot of eggs in my house.
Tractor supply sells laying hens for $55 for a brood of 10. I live in an HOA, though. Can’t get any.
Was upset with them, when they took out senior discount on Wednesdays.
Thank you Frank. Perspective.
History matters.
Math hurts.
They like to keep em angry in trump country!
I was in DC yesterday and gas was 50 cents cheaper too!!
That's canadian price.
