Perfect example of why "block everyone who follows this account" should be a thing imo.

Clicking several times through several screens for 160+ people is a nightmare and barely works. If nothing else it would save server loads to do it.

I don't trust other people to determine my blocks at the end of the day. Or even if I do trust them, I don't trust their personal internet security.

The issue is, ultimately, a mostly UI one. I'm not demanding a small team cater to me immediately, but it would be a welcome option I'll push for.

Also the only block list I saw was... literally not the followers of the account. It was a few people and a couple overlapped, but suffice to say it definitely didn't change my "I don't trust other people to do this" position. Quite the opposite.

they basically won't see you from a blocked account (though they could use an alt account for that). if, say, 95% of bluesky users blocked that account that'd make things very boring for them here, and being very boring is the easiest way to make people like that lose interest.

yes, they can use a 3rd party service to see how many accounts have blocked them. they can not see who's muted them, and they can see anything posted by an account that's muted them.
