Thorn from Destiny
I remember how brutal the mission was but EVERYONE at that point had already done it, hated it and now refused to ever do it again so..... I did it solo
(Some friend group ehh?)
10hrs of grinding, trial and error later I finally got it AND WOOOO BOI it did work!!
I was so happy to see them back, and happier still to see there was a whole skillset for them I can unlock. I never felt more powerful when I used them again.
Other than the pew-pew gun in Dead Space, I'd have to say the Icebreaker from the first Destiny game. With ammo regeneration it was hard to beat. I was able to solo a lot of missions with it.
The Dragon's Tooth in Deus Ex makes it impossible for me to continue my NO KILLS run every time. It's just too badass not to use. As soon as I get it, I'ma kill every motherf*cka in the room.
I always loved the slugthrower in soldier of fortune, followed closely by the heavy MG, both were equally devastating to the poor NPCs on the receiving end 🤣
Tough to pick just one...Doom's BFG, the various versions of the RYNO in the Ratchet & Clank series, the hacks to call in a gang or the cops in Watch Dogs 2, Skells in Xenoblade X, Samus's power suit in the Metroid series, Resident Evil's infinite rocket launcher....🤔
This may sound a little unusual but I'm borderlands 2, kreig the psycho has a full berserker build with his buzzaxe and that build makes any enemy you swing at explode into giblets. It also makes berserker mode last longer when you kill and you can throw buzzaxes. It made me feel badass 😁
Chainsaw, from Doom franchise. BFG does more damage, obviously, but it doesn't allow the monsters in that game to see me smile while I'm sawing them in half like a psychopath.
Big Boy, Fallout 4. It's a fat man that shoots 2 mini nukes for the price of 1. Make it a mirv launcher and you send 12 tiny nukes that OBLITERATE everything in sight
Definitely the control tether from Metal Arms Glitch in the System, pictured here (it’s the yellow and blue thing). It allows you to hack into enemy robots, gaining access to their weapons and movesets
The pudgy bot in the picture is the inventor of it, not the protagonist of the game (luckily)
I don't know if it's still in the game but in CDDA you used to be able to craft a heavy duty glove with nails sticking all out of it like a porcupine and I always thought it was pretty badass to punch an enemy and stick them with nails.
The Turok 2 Nuke. One of the most destructive weapons with one of the manliest explosion sound effects in gaming (with the original N64 sound font rather than the updated one in the remaster). Behold https://youtu.be/p7JIc1nl_wI?si=wzU8hfgOjCeykeNb
No matter what Souls game it is I will without fail pick up the Moonlight Greatsword or any of it's other names, great appearance, great damage, scaling, moveset, everything you could ever want!
Probably the Mag Rail from Deus Ex: Invisible War. Main shot is a simple devastating beam, alt-shot is an EMP blast that will mess up electronics like surveillance, weaponized robots, and the power armor of the proto-alt-right Templars.
I wanna shoutout the Vector Cannon from Zone of the Enders 2, while it may not be the most badass weapon of them all it has the most flair of a badass weapon
I finally got to try that one a bit...I don't have a PS5. But a friend is giving me his old Steam Deck since he got an OLED, so I can't wait to get it & get the Steam version of Rift Apart. Ratchet & Clank has been my favorite Sony IP for 20+ years now
I've loved every game in the series so far except the PSP ones and All 4 One, and I enjoyed what I played of Rift Apart so far as well ( from the start to where you first play as Rivet. Obviously I'll be starting over once I get the Steam Deck but I really don't care since it's so good )
Context is key here, but I'm going to say the green shell in Mario Kart. Pulling off a well aimed/timed shot with a green shell at the end of a multiplayer MK8 online race to secure a win; not much beats that feeling
They're not big honkin' cannons or anything, but the Mysterious Magnum and Maria from "Fallout: New Vegas" or Spray and Pray and Atom's Judgment from "Fallout 4" top my list.

I love them
The portable Ion Cannon from C&C Renegade
The Photon/Quantum Burst from Star Trek Elite Force I/II

Power? Through the roof.
Name? Unpronounceable.
Crissagrim.
But then, I remembered...
The Berserk Pack.
There's nothing more badass than turning an enemy into mush with your bare hands.
#Doom
#BerserkPack
Essentially (but probably not intentionally) a Sniper Rifle in the palm of your hand.
#Bloodrayne ♾️♾️
Can't argue with that.
It's this.
For the former, I'd go with the FINGeR from RE3, and for the latter it's hard to see past the Plasma Cutter in Dead Space.
10/10
Anyway, real answer, any mech. Big robots are dope as hell.
i tried, oh god did i try. 😭
Gears of War's Chainsaw Lancer
Mario Kart's Blue Shell
Not only does it do incredible amounts of damage, but the visual of cutting up the enemy with every other sword in the game is fantastic.
Plagas Laser, Resident Evil 4. Kills everything in 1 hit. 2 max.
Big Boy, Fallout 4. It's a fat man that shoots 2 mini nukes for the price of 1. Make it a mirv launcher and you send 12 tiny nukes that OBLITERATE everything in sight

“For all our bravado, we knew what it meant when Kain drew the Soul Reaver in anger - it meant you were dead.”
Don't know about being the most badass, but that's certainly one of the cutest.
Just kidding, the Cerebral Bore from Turok 2

Did you ever imagine what it'd be like if you had a gun that could fire those head-seeking, brain-drilling balls?
Or that once they finish drilling into someone's head, spilling their brains all over the floor they'd explode?
I present to you, The Cerebral Bore
to any aliens fans, its exactly what you think it is.

The Voodoo Doll in Blood.
The Mighty Boot in Duke 3D
It stands for Rip You [A] New One. A machine gun powered rocket launcher that plays Willams Tell's Overture while firing.
I don't think I need to explain why it's as badass as it is

It was sleek, did some damage, and deployed as a remote turret. Absolutely wicked.
Makes you feel so powerful.
Benediction / Anathema
Shut up, it was COOL, you don’t even know.
