I use vintage Panasonic electric shavers (the three curved thingus, can't recall model rn) so as to make sure that never happens. 99% of leg shave quality with 0.01% of cut risk
I used to shave/epilate a lot in the earlier part of my transition, and now I don't think I've shaved anywhere but my face and neck in three years. I'm not as naturally hirsute as I was before estrogen, but I like the feeling of velvet fur.
Smooth legs on clean sheets, for me, aren't worth the constant ingrown hairs. I hate every form of hair removal. It all hurts and gives me ingrown hairs.
So I just stopped shaving like 5-10 years ago. I'm 41.
I'll de-hair my legs on rare occasions, but I always regret it immediately lol.
I'm genderfluid and I only shave because good lord it CHAFFES and PULLS. texture nightmare. I only shave up to just below my knees though because I'm somehow fine with the hair there. then I look like hobbitknees McGee 👍
i met the cartoonist of cathy a few years ago and described my comic as “like cathy but trans”. i think every comic eventually becomes cathy. like how animals keep evolving into crabs (that’s a thing, right?)
i don’t remember. probably “nice to meet you” or something. i was just introducing myself because she visited someone else at my table at a cartoonist dinner thingie
