We're rolling out email verification in the latest Bluesky app release (1.52), as part of a larger effort to improve account security and authentication on the network.
Update and verify your email in Settings. In the coming days, you'll also receive an in-app prompt to verify your email.

What about 2-steps validation (and especially U2F) ? Will it be implemented ?
Perhaps most importantly, it puts people in some countries at risk, because they can hardly open an email account without disclosing their IP address, phone number and more.
Sorry
Why isn't it possible to see the invite code anymore?
Thank you @deck.blue for sharing this
To make more changes to your email after you've already verified it, you will need to provide a confirmation code from your verified email to confirm the change.
(Oui je me moque, et alors ? 😄)
That’s going to present a real problem in the future for some poor souls if there isn’t also another way to prove verification.
Makes you feel better, makes the line longer but isn’t really doing a job.
I don't see the "invite codes" section anywhere
Habe zwar zur Bestätigung meiner Mailadresse den Code erhalten, kann diesen jedoch nicht eingeben
Will meine Twitteraktivitäten mehr und mehr auf Bluesky konzentrieren, sobald das hier rund läuft
