There is no literally nothing differentiating Southwest from other airlines.
Actually, I take that back. Everything that differentiates Southwest from other airlines is bad. They stopped away literally every benefit and now Southwest is just like United or American but without all the useful stuff.

Why should seating assignments be a weird race starting 24 hours before departure, and being thwarted by those who are connecting?
Never understood the LUV cult stuff myself, though I’m clearly in the minority.
It doesn't make sense to travel for several weeks at a time w few changes. Some places require a 3 season clothing setup. To say nothing of the low odds of finding a laundromat; practically impossible in Stockholm, or they only take Swish.
I've never understood men whose entire personality is shitting on things other people like. Have you considered therapy?
I mean, we’re engaging in a discussion started by a SpongeBob meme; I apologize to those who were exposed to my contrary opinion.
On board service as well overall customer service has long been far better than the others.
As a new flyer, process was somewhat confusing, and stressful. On both legs, got last group of five seats together, and watched as other families with kids had to figure stuff out.
But in some markets still the best schedule. Not as many as it used to be, though.
Most flights aren't long enough to necessitate it. Also, why am I giving this airline more of my money for something I can plan ahead for?
BOB is a mark of desperation.
We know you fly Spirit and enjoy it. A lot of us don't and don't want that experience.
On the plus side, no “Basic Economy” and they fly MDW-DAL which happens to be quite convenient for me.
I fly SWA enough that change to 6mo won’t affect me.
Basic Fare
Basic fares are nonrefundable and non-changeable except as allowed by our 24-hour cancellation policy. Customers may be eligible for a flight credit if canceled at least 10 minutes prior to the flight's original departure time.
It costs money to handle luggage. It’s actually another company that manage luggage.
Come Americans, fight for something serious, like your democracy!
When will they start putting pressure on LHR for slots?
After A-list and A-List preferred, when do they announce a new tier?
May as well go full legacy carrier now.
787s, hub and spoke, etc.
I don't live in NYC (and generally refuse to transfer there) and if I need to go there I take the train.
