Totally agree: the web behind US politics is everywhere & waging interference everywhere, but in my scientific field, Antarctic science, I’ve seen massive investment by the Chinese and not just ‘boots on the ground’. Their climate analyses are excellent & I can’t see that stopping in near future. 1/
