Rabbit fuckers? Is that a thing now? I grew up sheltered and never heard about this part of Black culture. Sorry for my ignorance, but that one sounds a little extreme. I'm not denouncing it, I'm sure it's normal for some groups, it's just new to me.
Love Liv Colman.
(Damn good in a pub quiz, too. Woulda tried to get her to defect to our team but I do not fangirl or approach celebs on their off hours.)
There is an art to swearing and this hones it to a classic degree. In fact, it should be shown in any English class. The little fuckers swear anyway so no big deal.
Omg this movie was perfection❤️ Olivia Colman is perfection❤️ I could watch it again right now and I don’t like rewatching things but that’s how good it was!
Yes completely agree!
I think it will rub some people up the wrong way though as it deals with people taking responsibility for themselves and their actions and a lot of people are still not ready/willing to do that yet.
I saw that at the cinema with my old boss; our first cinema trip since she retired. With her husband too. Oh my days, the profanity was sublime but not with those two!!!
Great movie. You can still make great films with small budgets if the writing and plot is good. This is a prime example of that. Also, the acting was on point, including from the supporting actors.
😱 I love this movie. I absolutely love Coleman, and I laughed my ass off. When her father reads a letter, her mother's reaction nearly had me on the floor!!!
I saw it in theaters! I enjoyed it so much and I agree it’s brilliant, but lemme tell ya, I’m so grateful for closed captioning. That scene at the end, with all the cussing by the post box? I couldn’t understand a word of it when I saw it at the theater lol I got the gist but not the specifics.
