Depends. It's been cold out so most of the day. But now Texas' winter has ended so I'll start wearing flats again to work so no socks. Then I come home and put on real shoes to go to the park lol.
Not much of a socks for the sake of socks person. Too much dog hair lol.
Once upon a time I only wore socks if I was wearing shoes (and I only wear shoes outside) but as I've gotten older I've become overly concerned with avoiding crustiness. As soon as I get out of the shower I rub my soles with cocoa butter and put on fresh socks. I sleep barefoot but that's it.
90% summer and winter, wear boots for work, change to slippers in the house w/socks In winter, go to bed w/socks on most nights…find them crumpled at the bottom of my bed in am.
Many days, zero percent. And yes, I live in a cold climate. But flip-flops (good ones, with arch support) are my daily wear unless I actually have to leave the house. And then the socks come off again as soon as I'm home.
And we've found the glaring red flag. I know the obvious answer is yes, but do people really think that's comfortable? Actually more importantly, are they wearing the same socks they've been wearing all day with their stank of the day corn chip essence all trapped up in there? Because ew.
My feet get so cold and clammy without socks in the winter. 100% of the time in winter, especially when sleeping. In summer only if we have the a/c running and it’s chilly in the house. Not usually outside.
Only for work and going out that requires socks. Even in winter I will go without socks. And during summer or spring no socks. About 35-40% awake time in socks mostly against my will. No socks to sleep.

I hate the feeling of bare feet. In shoes. Without shoes. In bed when my feet are touching each other.
Socks are my only clear source of "regulation," tbh.

It’s a love/hate relationship. Love the smart wool, hate the efficiency of my old feet.
