That said, Canadian whisky is great stuff. #elbowsup
(Er, allegedly. Kinda all liquor reminds me of recycled mouthwash actually so don't take my word for it.)
However, you are correct. KY produces 90-95% of the World's bourbon...
And, Rand is #PutinsPoodle and in the #FAFO phase and we've suffered for it...🙁
But we're makin' our own.
Come join us!
It'll be fun!

I want to see our legislators act to protect American people, our economy and our Constitution.
In the bizarro world of lowest probabilities even if it gets a vote and passes in the House, President Trump will veto it and there are nowhere near enough votes to override his veto.
They have all sold their souls
Let the economic suffering begin. Not like they couldn't have passed this a month ago. Oh wait, they voted to give up more power instead!
She’s built a false reputation for being a moderate Republican by only voting with Dems on things that will never happen.
The Senate just approved it. But the leader of the House is a MAGA Republican, and he's not even going to allow a vote on it.
In 30 days, the House will probably force a vote via a discharge petition, and the measure will pass. But then the president will veto it, so it won't take effect.
One of the normal ways that other bills get killed is by the leader of one house or the other just refusing to allow a vote on something. It's not a sensible system.
It needed to be 67% in both Houses.
It's all fucking symbolic
So they're all aligned behind these tariffs.
Now let’s see how many in the House.
It’s arguably a declaration of war. And already at war with an enemy from within working in conjunction with Russia.
When the cost of living doubles and unemployment is 15%, he'll boast that he singlehandedly fixed the "Biden disaster," and everything is so great that "nobody has ever seen numbers this good."
(also, lets make it super difficult for one man's whim to be overruled...)

I mean, this is a good start but we are a ways from reining in the madman, right?
That's just my understanding of the letter of the law though, who the fuck knows what would actually happen

I woukd mever guessed him in a 1,000 yrs.
We're still in Trumpcity. That is we're still in the empire.
All of the authority of the Congress has been usurped by President Trump. He now controls the budget through impounding and makes law with Executive Orders.
The Congress is just performance art, as it has been for Republicans for about ten years.
Though I'll take it.
But steps.
Chip chip chip!
Keep up the pressure, y'all!
