I have mostly not talked about this a ton because I did not want to deal with people's shitty baggage, but in December I started taking a GLP-1 (mounjaro) for reasons unrelated to my long covid symptoms & the inflammation reduction changed my entire fucking life. I started breathing & sleeping again

Hopefully that will change at some point soon.
It's all so incredibly disheartening.
My insurance isn’t a fan of course—I’ll have to use Canadian pharmacies when the current coupon I’m using isn’t extended.
The related fatphobia has been exhausting.
motherfucker! I gotta go talk to my doctor. my sleep is an F-minus. I feel like hammered crap all the time.
I’m really glad that’s working out for you.
Might have to check the app.
I hope insurance stops being awful about it soon!
But there is some serious shit going on with these meds, and folks need to stop letting fatphobia make them weird.
Gone within a month.
(They also won't pay for my ADHD medication because I'm not 17 or younger 😡)
I haven't been able to work since contracting COVID twice the first year, so I literally cannot afford the medication no matter what. I know I'm not alone, either.
Drugs are great, actually
The inflammation reduction is phenomenal. I swear it’s this -
medical professionals: I dunno maybe metabolic issues shrug. GLP-1: whatever it was that they haven’t discovered yet I fixed it.
