1) He’s famous but in a narrow way
2) it’s disputed by his lawyers
3) The “scoop” has gone elsewhere so less incentive to allocate resource to a knotty tale that needs space
4) If there’s an institutional “fact” (eg police) it is much easier for a quick follow-up
