The implication was never that it disrupted much for humans, it was a time war between the Daleks and Gallifrey, and the Time Lords won, with devastating results for both species, not that it destroyed most of the universe or anything. Also, the face of Boe is immortal? How would that be disrupted?

Also. I really didn’t like Tennant as The Doctor. All of his ‘oh yes’ schtick really ground my gears. He was just the recipient of superior writing. Matt Smith was far better and the Eleventh Hour is the best new Doctor story evah.

Chibnall’s decision to have three sidekicks and no old villains in season 11 was actually a perfect soft reboot — the issue was that he didn’t DO anything interesting with them 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Doctor’s memory of being the Fugitive Doctor (and the Morbius Doctors, et al) was suppressed during his sentencing in The War Games. Hartnell and Troughton’s Doctors remembered being their predecessors perfectly (or as well as can be expected, given their ages).
