Hello, I have discovered the problem. I opened this Chrome window yesterday morning fresh...one tab.
This is what it looked like this morning.

But I'm going to anyway
I used to think I did this because of my ADHD but, as it turns out, it's more due to having untreated OCD.
Ridiculous amounts of mostly pointless research, as it turns out, can itself be a compulsion based in an obsessive discomfort with uncertainty.
And, never closing tabs is basically 1/
I can't close anything because "maybe it'll be useful and I'll need to come back to it! Maybe if I close that tab, I'll forget about it when I need it most!!"
Is this the digital equivalent of a messy room?
Thanks.
"What do you do? Like 3D modeling and stuff?"
"Yes?"
Just sayin'.
Hate to say it, folks, but Windows is just better at managing windows.
(I can no longer count how many tabs I have)
(Go exorcism. Hella good Sci Show content on your experience!)
"Do you need all of this? You could probably close some of these." I pleaded. He turned to me and said:
"...noooo..." like the ghost of christmas past. 'These tabs I forged in life!'
The work laptop gets turned off for the weekend and full restore. But also I have like 5 tabs when not actively doing stuff so 🤷♂️
I've accidentally enforced a full session restore to 600 people at work.
Only 1 person complained after a few weeks.
Here's one journo's attempt to win:
