If you know anyone in this position, please have them reach out to me. Real estate is very expensive nowadays, putting it home ownership out of reach for many, including me. I just want to own a home in an area where I can walk to get groceries and feed pigeons. Please help me make that happen.

(Joke aside, love the sarcasm! Thank you, it brightened my day)
But nobody is moving to this rust belt city because it ain’t Brooklyn or Paris- tho still very affordable.
What you mean is -walkable, affordable, and COOL-
Also, if everyone moves to Mayberry, Mayberry stops being affordable. All the "cool" places you're being snide about were once small and affordable too.
As others have pointed out, this is going to be a pretty elastic supply-demand price curve.

If I had a budget, I’d hire you to find the US union shirts.
Keep up the good work.
(I do know a few New York City people who never learned to drive, because they didn't need to and you can't park anywhere near where you're going anyway.)
-Bring many jackets.
My city isn't even remotely "walkable" and my house valuation has increased at least 50% in five years. I don't know how young adults will find housing for purchasing.

Of course you may not be able to get a loan at that point because the financial markets will all be having fits ...
