So I was just thinking "The Long Walk" is the best King book/novella that isn't a movie. (Technically it was a Bachman book, but semantics.)
So I google it to see if I missed one. And it turns out that one is in production, and our very own @markhamillofficial.bsky.social is in it!

3) The bathroom stuff
4) The weird gay stuff at the end
I love that. My brother couldn't write his own name in the dirt with a stick.
It's one of my favorite reads
One of the most terrifying with his insight on human behavior
Wish @stephenking.bsky.social was posting on here, miss him !
have you heard about this???
While they’re at it, do Ernest Shackleton’s story in Antarctica, too.
Lots of good energy in raw hamburger

Why did the turkey walk down the middle of the road?
To prove he wasn't a chicken.
I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days after I read it. Thrilled that my favorite actor is going to be Chuck.

Absolutely chilling
Too soon?
Fingers crossed for a decent adaptation without any unnecessary modernizing or pussyfooting around the original climax.
If they could make it without being specific about the year, or set it pre cell phones, that would be great for me.😀
And yeah, I can’t see how they can keep the ending the same.
I liked the feeling of dread it creates, but I take personal issue with the way the characters were written and some scenes (like the make out with the lead).
That's just me tho.
Now I remember why I was such a dedicated fan of his for so many years.
