My dad, Bryan H. Bunch, died on Tuesday at age 88. I wrote about him not just because he was a great father, always there for me, but because his passion for knowledge, science, truth and civic virtue embodied his American century. That, too, is slipping away. https://www.inquirer.com/opinion/bryan-bunch-obituary-knowledge-20250314.html

Thinking of you & your family, and wishing you the comfort of peace & love.
In case you messed👇🏼 part @maddow.msnbc.com
“When they sent him home from the hospital last Friday because there was nothing more they could do for him, one of his last requests was to make sure he saw Rachel Maddow’s monologue at 9 p.m. that night.”
So sorry for your loss.
Peace be with you.
good life,
good son.
Lovely paean.
Thank you for sharing him with us.
My dad died just before Trump was inaugurated the first time. I miss him, but I'm glad he didn't have to live through the ensuing dismantling of our democracy and sense of community.
I hope you & your family find peace & comfort in the memories, as time passes.
