Gen Z has finally accepted the torch we carried throughout the 2010s of unreasonably outraged headlines accusing us of killing industries and beloved cultural touchstones.
the article itself is written w/o an ounce of anger, ending with "no matter what we put in our sandwiches we all love them" i think this is just clickbait for old people
Lol, remember it was only about 5 years ago the media constantly accused the Millenials of "destroying" things & being problematic? As soon as the older members of a young generation get into the work world, older gens feel threatened about their jobs & start trashing the young folk.
I would argue that nobody in their right mind when given the choice would go for ham and mustard in their meal deal, not least because the best value proposition is clearly the breakfast triple with a Lucozade and a bag of hula hoops
Is your headline boring? Lacks any kind of punch? Why not try adding the word woke for literally no reason! Suddenly your crybaby tantrum about kids not liking ham is a crusade against woke virtue signalling politics.
Alt text that I forgot: "MailOnline Headline: "Now Gen Z are waging war on pur sandwiches! How younger brits are ditching English classics like ham and mustard in favour of fancy woke fillings"
"Gen Z Brits are turning their backs on British sandwich classics like ham and mustard and cheese and onion in favour of 'fancy' fillings like avocado, olives and continental cheese."
Mr. Campbell lays in bed at night, shaking with fear about all the woke fillings people will choose for their sandwiches the next day. He starts weeping uncontrollably.
I saw the date of the article, these sort of articles should be grounds for suspension of ur journalist pass like how they punish ppl over on Reddit for reposting
"Gen Z Brits are turning their backs on British sandwich classics like ham and mustard and cheese and onion in favour of 'fancy' fillings like avocado, olives and continental cheese."

This is like Fox News UK edition
Because in this case, it likely just means "not cheddar."
It’s tainting my anti-woke ham!

I guess gen z brits would prefer their character to have some flavour.
