Tell me, historians, is this not an accurate history of how Republicans win elections?
'68: Nixon ratfucks the ceasefire between N. & S. Vietnam, leading to 50,000 dead Americans & many dead Asians
'72: Southern strategy
'80: Reagan talks Iran into not releasing American hostages to ratfuck Carter
'88: V.P. G.H.W. Bush conceals evidence of SNL crisis until after election; releases Willie Horton ad
'00: Roger Stone leads Brooks Brothers riot to assault election workers in FL, stops recount by violence
'04: GW Bush lies about WMDs to become Wartime President
'12: Tea Party suddenly realizes deficits = treason, forgets after '16
'16: Trump says Obama's BC is fake. Trump's campaign manager & Roger Stone collude with Russian spies who steal Democrat emails; FBI & NYT conceal investigation into Trump's collusion, while publicizing investigation into Clinton
'20: Trump's son-in-law seizes PPE from blue states and denies them aid hoping to kill off blue state voters. Trump agrees to COVID testing before debates, shows up knowing he's positive, refuses test, trying to kill his opponent
Have I gotten anything wrong, or left anything out?
I know politics is a rough business, but man, that's just pathological. Par for the course for Trump of course, but incredibly evil for a normal human to do something like that. My fellow citizens continue to astonish me in their willingness to accept such outlandish behavior in a public figure.
In the fall of 2020 people over the age of 65 (like Trump and Biden) had about a 2% mortality rate...a 1 in 50 chance of dying if they caught Covid. Trump (and everyone around him) knowingly took a 1 in 50 chance of killing their opponent a month before the election.
Knowingly? They probably hoped for it. Either way, if they'd killed or even hospitalized Biden they would've laughed about it and been proud of themselves.
If someone who knew they were Covid positive went to visit a 77 year old relative of yours in September 2020 and spent about 2 hours indoors with them, how would you have reacted? My guess is that 80-90% of people would have been outraged, perhaps to the point of severing ties.
If you thought January 6 was chaotic, imagine if Trump had succeeded in killing Biden with Covid in 2020 just a few weeks before the election. Then imagine if he’d won, and then the story about him doing this knowingly came out.
And this is absolutely not the sort of thing that any of the news people really get mad at. You can tell what they really get mad at and what they have energy to b**** and moan about for years and years, this doesn't really concern them.
you know that old adage about how trump could shoot someone on times square? well, maybe he pulls out a gun and finishes biden right then and there.
very high-energy move, and totally unpredictable. classical donnie!
You raise an interesting idea. If Trump pulled a pistol on Biden, what would the Secret Service do? They both have them. Would it turn into a scene from The Wild Bunch?

Remember when the DNC decided to enforce in-person primary voting despite Bernie repeatedly asking them to, while Biden was all "get out and vote"?
