As a non-English speaking kid back then it was funny cuz I didn't know the meaning of that phrase, so for quite a while I thought the title was literal, that they were commandos; it wasn't until I learned about the phrase that I was like "ohhhhhhhh I get it now". lol
OH! It was originally made for PSP but like a lot of games from that time they got PS2 ports since they shared similar hardware and the PS2 sold too well not to
the developer commentary LP that two insomniac devs did ages ago mentions how one time they got a letter in from a parent complaining "what's next, Ratchet And Clank: I Did Your Mom"
Still surprised I’ve never seen anyone talk about what “rift apart” means in the context of a series that also says “up your arsenal,” “a quest for booty,” and “a crack in time”
I remember hearing about the injustice that is All-4-One. Apparently one of it's proposed titles was Multiple Organisms and I live in the wrong timeline because that's not the name.
Literally all the sequels except Deadlocked and Secret Agent Clank if it counts had dirty names. Maybe you can say A Crack in Time didn't, but that was originally supposed to be called Clock Blocked lol
Up Your Arsenal was the funniest of the subtitles, I'll add lol
