No. 1 in France when I was born was called "Viens Te Perdre Dans Mes Bras" by Frédéric François, which (having just heard it for the first time) is every bit as awful as the title would suggest.

The Rolling Stones's "Angie" displaced it the next week.

Frédéric displaced them again the week after.
