The best way to get human interactions is to post a genuine question anyone can answer then see how many answers you get.
Most people who follow don't interact unfortunately.
Again, im personally gathering data here, nothing more.
Here though bots get caught very quickly and get deleted within a week or 2. There's not many active bots here.
The main bots are ones trying to profit off of the situation in Gaza. Those take a little longer because it's harder to tell who's a human asking.
I tried this show-of-hands type thing myself and of my 1k followers, only 19 engaged. It's nuts. I'm hoping a lot of folx that just followed me through Starter Packs are still figuring out how to make Bluesky a place they like to go? But... I dunno, the drop in engagement is a big yikes.
