Looking for a game rec:
Wanting to play a sort of cozy base builder where when you build a new building, someone moves in (ie, you make a shop so someone wants to work there). Preferably first person?
Tried Medieval Dynasty and decided there's just too many mechanics for me.

Corekeeper is my most recent obsession which hits some of those vibes?
Not a base builder but very cozy is sticky business where you design stickers.
You can also adjust the difficulty etc so it's not even that hard and you can up the materials gained etc! <3 the Dev team actually likes it's fanbase 😂
- Tavern Simulator
- Supermarket Simulator
But Dofromantik or Foundation might be your speed if Medieval Dynasty was too much.

Shopkeepers appear later in the game, but you can assign rooms to folks anytime.
I fell off it at some point in the demo, but the concept of constructing buildings for NPCs to actually use was fun. Bit like Terraria but more varied ^^
I Am Future - Post-Apocalypse isometric builder/survival. Haven't played much but feels Stardew-y.
Saleblazers - Build and run your own shop.
Complexity varies across games.
