I feel like this is all just a way for the crypto big wigs to pillage a few trillion dollars as the stocks tank and BTC rises, and then Trump rescinds the tariffs and then they sell the crypto and buy the stocks that fell by 20%
The big boys have been shifting their heft to private equity and overseas. The retail stock market is less of an indicator of the actual economic health of main street USA in 2025 than it's been since the S&P 500 launched
A view from the inside - the fear levels are drastically different… during Covid there was fear of the unknown, sell everything and ask questions later. Today traders and PMs still believe (incredibly IMO) that this is a negotiation and things will be worked out
We've barely fallen below the level of Monday's open, on rumors of a 20% across-the-board tariff. Now we know it's worse!
Guessing it's a bet that companies will weasel their way into exemptions? Though pharma stocks are up on their exemption and vice stocks are up/flat probably on recession fears.

No other economic explanation gives any reason for that drop.
Holy fuck, I should be investing in gold futures right now.
