I'm not hot, but I'd still like to know: If Oxford can have its own comma, why can't Cambridge have one, too?
The alliteration would be delicious.

i personally only have one use for it and it’s that when i’m sculpting the curves of the stanzas of my poems, sometimes i need a line to have like an extra half-millimeter of width to it
otherwise, as a writer who shuns the period i don’t need the extra pause really

I also forget all the rules all the time. So I put a comma anywhere I feel like, there needs to be a pause. That's why I call it the heartfelt comma.
