Once the ai bubble pops big tech has no hyper growth ideas left. The markets will see they spent $200bn on nothing and that they have no other growth ideas. Software based stocks get chopped, horrible layoffs, dark era in valuations

I’m a dumbass what is the real chaos? Investors realize tech companies have lit billions of dollars on fire?

Shall we all walk backwards through the investments of SoftBank and the sovereign wealth funds of nepotistic petrostates to cover just the last decade.
I'll give the investment in Twitter as a win under wider geopolitical goals.
The AI bubble is the last remnant of ZIRP world, where sequential valuation bubbles could be daisy-chained seemingly without consequences.
AI should have ended already, but ZIRP money is now subject to the sunk cost fallacy, so we get a bidding war over who gets to be the last and greatest fool.
or a Cormack McCarthy novel tbh but that's beside the point
Will meemaw do the same after Smilin’ Joe Rogan©️ promotes it to her on X The Everything!™️ app? We’ll find out!
They could've used it in de-mining robots in Europe. They could've made robot dinosaurs and built a real Jurassic Park.
They pick the cartoonish evil shit for some reason and that just sucks
Look at Uber. Everyone knows it's propped like Bernie's corpse, but the party seems fun, so they're all still playing along. Reality only bites when the investors move on.
Who cares about $50 million?
the average person will happily type "Darth Vader shopping at Kroger" into a box on the internet for free and get a giggle, but nobody's willing to pay for the same so it's hemorrhaging money
Who am I kidding. More oil.
Cue next round of hype investing
The $200B wont be a total loss, but it will be big. But not fatal.
That's likely the combined revenue for the last half year. And AI will, in small ways, make more revenue.
The most interesting part is the 'no new ideas'.
And it'll be Biden's fault because of DEI.
When I was looking at ETFs for building a portfolio, so much of it was just the same AI adjacent stocks over and over in almost every ETF.
If it really hits the fan, it's gonna be compounded massively.
RTO saves CRE and middle mgmt chips in to make it happen. JPM and blackrock essentially invest in it all. Daisy chained together, backbone of sales force and AWS.
I called this last year when Character.AI started killing bot quality to save money.
The downfall's gonna be biblical.
