Trust in US military hardware has eroded that much in the last two months that even the official account of Lockheed Martin feels compelled to deny the existence of the kill switch in the F-35.

Saying the “Pentagon can’t” seems like it’s missing the point though.
Like, eventually the mad king (possibly through the Pentagon) could induce Lockheed Martin to kill-code the planes.
Canada should drop that contract immediately imho.
expensive and hard yes but possible for most of them?
