Uh, well, show me a country with a similarly diverse population and a few centuries of forcing one racial group into involuntary servitude and we can discuss.
I've reviewed scientific grant proposals for their government for a few years, they take Mātauranga Māori very seriously in my experience with that agency. And would-be grantees went to great lengths to ensure that their work was inclusive, else they wouldn't be funded.

I'm asking, I don't know. But do Australia and New Zealand and Canada really put that much less emphasis on this than we do?
- Quotas all over the world for women in government
- The UK and Ireland have laws mandating % of women, minorities, and people with disabilities in television.
- Countries like India have quotas and systems reckoning with their caste system
- post apartheid states!!
Ok.
We need more Canadian Nice.
(But they do this too)
We KNOW the real issue is racism.
We KNOW the real issue is misogyny.
Why TF are people with a huge voice still trying to “logic” RACISM and MISOGYNY?
