Sure, social media has its downsides, but I cannot say enough good things about being able to see everybody's pets without having to leave my house or speak to a human first, really just knocked that one out of the park

I have been greeting people's pets on the street without acknowledging the person holding the leash for a few decades now. You just use your talking to animals voice and no one seems to care that you're only saying hello to the pet and not it's owner.
Yay! A flopping bunny is a happy bunny. I'm sorry somebody dumped him at the grocery store but I'm glad you've provided him someplace safe to land for a while
I’m not the main foster, just helping out over the holiday. He will be up for adoption eventually. I’ve rescued a number of bunnies and I’ve never seen one so exhausted. He must have been neglected a long time. He’s starting to perk up a little today. He’s friendly and using the litter box
But if he's flopping already, then he knows he's safe. He may still be shocky for a while but he just needs a quiet place to hang out for a bit while he finds his bearings. When I fostered I called it bunny finishing school. Teaching them that humans meant good things, Etc
it’s the animal pics for sure that bring me the greatest sense of community, bc I know that animal is who is the most valued and devoted and always there
Thanks!
Me too, he's a character. With character. Gettin middle aged, 26ish. His gf is a violent young conure named Rowdy. SammiVelcro the Hahn's likes cake & peanut butter but mostly gets pomegranates, sweet potatoes & snap peas.

Here they were yesterday, helping us choose this year's Christmas Tree.
