Woo woo crunchy stuff is rooted in reactionary thinking. All ties back to purity movements in the 19th century. Its hard to see through its trappings of counter culture, but its always been there. Advances in science push woo into the fringe areas where extremeist cranks live, hence...all that.

I haven't read the piece, maybe the piece is good.

The marketing of the piece - the headline, the subhed, the one sentence summary for link previews - is all celebratory. If you scroll by it, you are given a neutral-to-good impression of RFK Jr, and a sympathetic image of a heavily pregnant mother.
