The reason the Biden story won't go away is that the "Biden Inner Circle Coverup" story is the "Feinstein on Judiciary" story is the "Connolly instead of AOC on Oversight" story is the "Republicans are about to pass their Medicaid killer bill because 3 Dems have literally died in their seats" story.

Maybe you shouldn't have opinions based on ignorance like MAGA does?
I can make a difference within the Dem Party for us to do a much better job of standing up to and defeating Republicans. Gerontocracy is hurting our ability to do that.
But this is why it needs to be party culture to encourage retirements.
It's a big problem! And it doesn't have to be this way. There is life outside of office, and trying to hold them as sinecures unto death in positions of maximum power is really, really bad for the work and for democracy.
Are you dense, stupid, or a fucking liar to miss the point this bad?
Which one is it, fuck face?
Biden was handed an economic dumper fire by Trump and turned into record job growth. Increased domestic manufacturing. Record small business growth. First president to walk a labor picket line.
He did it with the media gunning for him the whole time.
Biden did step down, from the race. So if that was necessary, why was he okay to remain in office? He should have retired and we should have elected the incumbent president Harris.
I'm gullible as fuck too, mate
MSM simply doesn't have the guts to confront the Administration, so it cowardly goes after someone who they know will never punch back.
T whips MSM; MSM punches someone who wasn't even the D candidate and is no longer in politics.
Pathetic, contemptible stuff from the MSM.
The issue continues but I do think the press’ hatred of Biden was a bit deranged.
We never got past this.
Biden could have reclaimed the issue by pointing out that Trump had freed thousands of Taliban, >
Soon after this came Biden kissing up to Manchin to try to get his laws passed. This meant, in practice, Biden adopting many of Manchin's stances in public, a full 180° from Biden's campaigning. Biden could have reclaimed the issue by >
So Biden allowed MSM to blame him for Manchin, to see him as an inexplicable flip-flopper.
The press' hatred of Biden IS deranged, but evolved from Biden having an absolute messaging problem.
1. Thomson and Tapper are settling scores with Biden
2. More importantly their publisher would like to recoup their advance
That's literally it.
The actual vote margin may be small, but it is stage-managed. Johnson can hand out “NO” passes to his angriest members. If he needed their votes, he would get them.
They had Garbarino & Schweikert (who were apparently napping when the vote took place) if they needed them. And they easily could've flipped Harris from present to yes if they needed him.

I know the "Dems lost the vote because 3 of their members died" take is tempting and fun, but it's also lazy and just plain wrong.
/3
In particular, they lost the vote because the GOP won two seats on the North Carolina Supreme Court in 2022 and flipped it from a Democratic to a Republican majority, which paved the way...

Those state and local elections matter, folks.

Since 2020, there have been 14 members of Congress that died in office. 10 were Democratic Party members.
13 of 17 members of the house born in 1945 or earlier (80 years ago) are Dems
* In today's environment those vulnerable Republicans will pay (or not) for the disastrous bill their party passes regardless of their individual vote.

how many more dems have to die in office before you get it?
