He was patient. Had to be. I met him a few times when I was a young teen. This was pre- and early-post ABHoT. He was always nice, very generous with his time, and put up with some really banal questions I asked him in an interview for my school paper. Then again, kids said nice things about Feynman.

For me, A Brief History of Time was the book every science teacher told you to read when you told them you wanted to be a physicist. The illustrated version was so captivating. Now I wonder if the book decently explained the phenomena it covers or if it dumbed them down to the point of nonsense.
