Best work moments are when you’ve been putting off something for weeks you think will be terrible then it takes like 15 minutes. Also dumbest work moments.
The mistake was allowing the narrator to realize it's only a 5 minute task. I always try to convince people that things that take me 5 minutes actually take me hours. So far it's worked. Hmmm... maybe I should not post this? Nahh, what's the worst that could happen?
it very much depends on what one feels is the Other Side of the task imo. the more concerning the Other Side stuff is, the longer the off-putting. this is why it's important to always have a few tasks that don't actually ever need doing, as insulation. to protect one from the Things The Other Side
i've learned to spend 2 days panicking that i can never finish in 10 days them work for 40 hours straight on the third day then do nothing for the next week and a half
