This would sell: an electric model, with the cab as comfy as a Smart Car, with 150 km range.
1. It's pretty difficult, you have to strip the entire car apart as so much of it is directly driven from the engine.
2. It's somehow cheaper to have your battery delivered wrapped in a car.
But, there's no reason we couldn't be making or selling better modern versions in the US right now except Bullshit
Also traffic has been chaotic since drivers feel secure inside their giant vehicles and end up driving like 5-years old.
We’re damned.

For its surroundings!!
Not to mention the capacity for putting passengers in harms way!!!
I had to ditch my 3cyl 1L C1. I miss its compatibility with parking pockets. My new car is a 3cyl 1L Fiesta. It’s too wide!
Yes, I’m a squad. I do what must be done right away.
Normal people, like the brother who lives a 4 minutes walk from 80 y/o mom, is always too busy proclaiming how important he is.
He has 3 cars.
(I know that's a roof rack not roll bars but good luck finding a picture of that)

I bet you could put a full fridge on the Daihatsu bed and I know you can't fit one in a cyberschmuck.
When I see a kei truck, I go SQUEEEEE and wish I had one. 😍
Just absolute perfection of form and function
I hate big cars. This arms race cannot be won.
