They have recently FLOODED SF streets with these things. I have never left my house in the past few weeks without seeing at least one, and usually 3 or 4 of these, mostly empty. SF screwed up letting these tech bros use our city yet again and making our traffic WORSE. Now we are even losing sleep?

I wonder if this is euphemistic to avoid the US mesning of 'hooters', which, in English, is the name of the device, in the car, which hoots - the hooter.
