agreed. bpd is certainly not indicative of moral character, as much as society disparages it. simply feeling emotions more strongly does not mean anything for morality. it's a question of how any given person manages it, no different to anyone else
It's a fine line between excusing the awfulness of people like your mother and what ought to be an anodyne observation that mental health conditions such as BPD don't make you a good or bad person.
That said, BPD is notorious for being very hard to live with and live near. My understanding, from people I've been close to with BPD, is that being a decent person while struggling with what BPD does to you is a constant struggle.
Some people don't win that struggle. Some people don't really try.
It definitely doesn't help when the BPD person in your life also has religious delusions of having been "healed" of their BPD by the touch of Christ and stops taking their meds, which intensifies their delusions.
"someone loves me unconditionally to the point of owning me" is the thing... well that and the "yearn for the leash" or whatever from that meme but you get me

Those aren't mutually exclusive.

uh
So I'm told.
BPD is the abbreviation for Borderline Persinality Disorder - a very painful illness that causes huge insecurities.
Bipolar Disorder is actually abbreviated BP, BP1, or BP2
...but lots of people don't know there are even both (actually all 3) disorders...
(borderline personality disorder)
Some people don't win that struggle. Some people don't really try.
