I binged the comics recently and IMO everything from season 3 to the end is so consistently amazing it's insane, I hope you enjoy the rest of this season

If ya don't mind a rec assassin's apprentice is amazing, with the mc being one of my favs. Witnessing his journey is gut wrenching and I cant read the first few pages without getting choked up.

Congrats on catching up on stormlight, seems like it was a hell of a journey. Are there any books you have your eye on?

hows the story? been interested in vesperia and even though people like the combat the story seems to be divisive with a lot agreeing that it falls apart in the final act

oh damn you're really close to the end, it felt like it was only a couple of days ago when you were on dhoulmagus. How've you been enjoying the game?

It's sooooo good, the music goes crazy too. We need season 4 ASAP

Chihayafuru is fantastic, probably my fav start to an anime. The passion and dedication the characters convey for their niche hobby really resonated with me.

I feel like I've cared less and less about spoilers over time and after thinking about it I think it's because all those spoilers I got almost never detracted from my enjoyment of the thing when I got to it since I didn't know the full context behind it.

Curious to see how you'll feel about 7, it's the most love it or hate it game in the series but is also probably the most unique

Would falcom release sky 2 a year after the 1st? I thought they planned on waiting to see how well the 1st would do

Do you plan on checking out other cosmere books after wind and truth?

Hows the writing on the VN bits?

There's an argument to be made about how necessary the h scene was (or how explicit it needed to be) and ymmv there, but outside of that I thought it well written and the MC is really interesting off the bat. Soundtrack and overall atmosphere was great too

I haven't read the whole thing, but the one h scene I've seen felt like it fit the story. It wasn't meant to be fan service at all and was honestly hella disturbing but it fit what was happening in the story at that point and conveyed just how twisted the whole situation was.

You've probably already played it but in case you haven't, Void Stranger. It's one of those where the less you know the better

Gintama is amazing, its the shonen anime equivalent of yakuza where the one off episodes are over the top goofy substories but the main plot is serious and dramatic. Its a slow burn but the way the story comes together is incredible. One of the most emotional moments in the series is a dick joke

do we know what the deal with moon door 5 is yet?

Damn I really hope it comes out in the west next year, though that might be asking for too much since that's when daybreak 2 also releases

Where does Kai rank for you in the series overall? Seems like you're pretty high on it

Ohhhh yeah that makes perfect sense. Hearing about the side quests put me off for a while too but thankfully it was only really a problem with 1

Oh im surprised u were uninterested in xenoblade at one point. I assumed they were up ur alley (storywise at least)

how long did it take from when u started learning japanese to get to the point where u were comfortable enough to play jp only games? also sky 3rd being the impetus for that is dope as hell
