Do they have wee patio chairs for when they’re not home?

“And I will argue that it is not, in fact, happening to me now. And that whatever *is* happening to me is the last guy’s fault. La la la!🎶”

I’m pretty sure shutting down the government has been their priority since January.

When it popped up on my phone, I thought it was a box of animal crackers. 🙂 But I’m waking up! A lot of those “Living Presence “ records are great. For a while there, at the end of CDs in stores, I kept finding them in sale bins.

Clearly Canada. My people are generally incapable of an elegant sentence. (Though knowing the audience, there’s not much point in bothering.)

We spent the last (number of decades) advertising that we *will not* punish the wealthy/powerful. And we must now examine: when your attention is torn from a travesty, is the “distraction” in fact a new travesty, just as disturbing? It is exhausting. Remember Abu Ghraib? Time marches on.🫤

Yeah. I think I have an impulse to just presume and imagine, without knowing for sure I’m not concocting the truth by accident. I’m currently rereading Lanark, by Alasdair Gray, which takes place in an uncertain world that gives me similar feelings to the current situation.

Because milk drinkers became so much sadder than non milk drinkers.

I’m singing, kind of as usual. But I can’t tell whether it bears any particular relation to the degree of dark.

Who got the assignment to come up with composer names for this place? Limp at best. The big surrounding road is Sullivan? Come on, folks.

Nothing in stereo, first off. And it looks like treble is being sacrificed. Maybe the second Public Image, LTD album?

That's what's so insidious. They come in and decimate the commercial community, and then they're the only game in town. (In several towns, often.) And people are unaware of how they've been swindled. Galling.

Yeah, I’ve been off all of those for years. When I suggest that shopping at Walmart is unethical, a lot of people just look as me funny.

Well, you would logically bring a larger bazooka. Then you would win. Unless, of course, your opponents bring an even bigger one. Ooh! - but you know what you could do then? Bring an even bigger one. Problem solved. Meanwhile, you've become bazooka-minded people.

I don’t think they’re baby. There’s also nothing little about my depression, and right now I’m facing the same task. But it can be cathartic and new-leaf feeling.

It’s true, the left have never taken to “Grab ‘em by the pussy.” What these dolts are and have been bullying isn’t power, so much as the ability to derail power.

I had a job rehabbing a chain pharmacy over night shifts. We only had to hear their programmed tape at the beginning and end of shifts. When the gig was over I took one of their hours-long tapes home, and about 40 minutes in I put a Butthole Surfers on there, and put it back on the office shelf.

I’m stuck in the US for the duration, I suppose, and my first thought was “I should stop buying US goods as well!” But too many people here are already losing jobs and many more are about to be struggling as he tanks our economy. It’s meaningful for the world to isolate this cancer. Don’t stop.

Partly due to the fact that what is called a centrist nowadays is a few hefty clicks right of Eisenhower. And most things right of that were considered unAmerican, unChristian, and a national embarrassment until recently.

I believe they have not! They don’t believe (for instance) that Musk would line his coffers with all the dismantling of organizations investigating him. Heaven forfend! And rising inflation? They never believed Trump had a plan to change anything on day one, no, these things take time.

Add his stance on fracking, his enthusiasm for Netanyahu re: Gaza, and his recent jaunt to Mar-a-Lago and you get a very different image of him.

You get a half dozen senators to chain themselves to the doors of the treasury, the Department of Education, the NIH, USAID, and a few grocery stores for good measure, and have each action attended by a thousand fired DEI employees. People losing jobs in real time and you write letters?

Malfeasance.

Boy those letters and votes have them quaking in their boots! Standing amongst the smoking ruins of civilization, “I am drafting a very strong letter indeed letting them know of my displeasure!”
