Yeah, and it doesn’t need to be ocean. If you’ve got a lake or a river, you’re good.

My general rule has always been, “Don’t stray too far from large bodies of water.” Something about having a coastline benefits the soul.

But you did clarify it doesn't have to be the ocean, so there's that I guess.
Bout as far from "near a body of water" as you can get.

Get a beach house. It doesn’t even have to be on the beach, tho the best ones are. We all like to congregate at boundary conditions. Where land meets water. Where earth meets air. We like to be on one side, and look at the other.
(It’s that one came up right after the other is what caught my eye. Flooding isn’t funny and I know you aren’t suggesting it is since there is no way you would know where it would appear)
I can't find a job, and these people are mean and scary.
heck a glass of water can literally save your life
Had some great times there
Beaches are 100% overrated
Lakes are fine; more fun frozen than in summertime
Rivers, especially if there are rapids, are excellent
I'm in NH, so it's the Atlantic, and it's cold, but it's still my heart home.
We do most of our swimming in the local pond, though. It's gorgeous.
I got lost the first 3 weeks I was there cuz the water's on the other side. It drove me crazy!
