I disagree, Saeed. They are incompetent. When you boil it down to the simplest plan - burn everything then pick out the diamonds from the ashes - that part is intentional, yes. They are not smart - they are without conscience. I don't think that's the same thing as being masterminds.

Rather than saving up to buy a house, I saved up and made my most un-pitchable movie. Got me to Sundance, SXSW and a some others (shout out to Nashville!), but that's it. Wouldn't do it again... but wouldn't trade the experience. I really don't need a house. I need to make things.
