I had to answer a call during your show, and I missed a full look at the front of the puppets. Was there a whole look at them during the live show? Because.. puppets...

"do it to any company" he says. So if we protest the Hostess Twinkie factory, for no other reason than to fact-check him, we'd face the same fate? How about the guy who has protested outside the Poulsbo RV store in Washington State for years, him too?

Totally. And a special mention for the fake typing sounds when AI is asking you questions, when it finally connects.

Seeing the note in his hand, and remembering the photo ops where he got to pretend he was a truck driver, a firefighter, and a McDonald's employee, one could only guess that Musk promised him he could play "car salesman." This whole thing is giving Spinal Tap vibes.

Jim Acosta is a damn treasure. If I only have time to watch or read anything political, it's Jim's Substack and show. He and his guest are not afraid to tackle things directly, and the expert-level swearing is a bonus.

My IQ is higher than Elon. BFD. trump is obsessed with the idea that white people are "geniuses."

Seriously. I would love it if every reporter would start retorting, "but Federal jobs are American jobs."

musk is tripping balls over there... So the Hatch Act was scrubbed during his first term? A White House infomercial seems kind of illegal.

Is anyone else saying the quiet part out loud about the comments of "making DC safe, beautiful, and clean" again? It's a "white-wash": Clearing out low income and working families so that developers can build condos for rich legislators and lobbyists. DC should be our 51st state, not Canada.

I dictate Notes on my iPhone. Sometimes I use Voice Memo for comedy ideas and doing monologues and bits. I even record fictitious future podcasts, (also playing the guest.) If I tried to write it down, I’d never leave my car, but it’s a great idea!

A look at DC's demographics tells you why they say they want to "return it to its glory." A hot mic over a GOP lunch will tell you exactly who they're trying to drive out of DC. And why the tech billionaires' dream is to create new cities with private security and handpicked demographics

Though I understand the use of the words "entitled to," for headline writers and social media folks under 30, that term has been used to infer that this is some gift that was bestowed upon us, when in fact it was "EARNED." That would be a better editorial word choice. "the money they EARNED"

I scared the dog while watching that part, exclaiming, "yes!!! Please do this!!" So, yes, you really need to do that. I know some other Democrats have been talking about that. But being unelected, you and Michael could really let loose.

The Stock Market is a daily thing... it doesn't drop because of something that happened 4 months ago, or even 4 weeks ago. Though much is probably automated now, the driver of stock movement is human emotion, hunches, fear, and ego.

I have a friend on Social Security Disability - he is terminally ill. The hoops he had to jump through to get less than $900 a month to live on, were inhumane. AND, you have to justify everything, including you must report if someone buys you groceries or a gift of any kind (like clothing.)

Oh, how I love Porto’s! It’s a beautiful thing to see how they churn through line, and still give personalized service, and great food.

The thing with In n’Out is that it can’t be compared to any other burger joint. It’s not a “burgers-to-burgers” thing. There is only one In ‘n Out. It’s fresh, it’s reliable, and it’s iconic.

I'd suggest that guy spend some of that money on actually educating their children, and making sure that they have medical care. Wish the constituents of States like Oklahoma would figure this out.

Wonderful read. In the age of "everyone is a digital creator now," it feels as if so much, from music to film, is "packaged for resale" like tiny inedible cookies from Sam's Club.
I hadn't considered "New Literalism," but it seems to encompass, my nemesis, gratuitous exposition in scripts.
