I guess you don't know what Lenny and I got up to at the Omnia a couple of weekends ago. And if you don't want the world to know, I suggest you deliver daily fresh meals of grilled steak or just whatever is left on the cutting board. Daily.

I don't write the rules. And no one in stripes or the broadcast booth seems to have a different view.

They had combined control, ball didn't move when it hit the ground. It was trapped. Worthy's hand was between both of the defender and then he wrestled it away. Defender lacked sole control because of that and never regained it.

In my buddy text group, we had to pass an all out ban on this when one person was proudly announcing the quality of their bowel movement and suggested that we really should see how impressive it was. There was a motion, a second and a vote within the text group. I made the motion.

Oh, but what is happening with bluesky juice prices?
Good info. I went to Sprouts market in Riverside yesterday and the egg shelf was completely empty. Vons down the road was not totally stocked, but at least there were eggs.

First there was Bates. Then the attack on Jennings with panda-like bloodthirst. This is like the unrated version of Pulp Fiction.

I did that on 2k but I had to turn down the difficulty....

Until that moment, it felt like the secondary was decorative tonight. Also, M-I-Z!

Rules question on 12 men on d: they stop the play if there are 12, don't stop it it 12th is running off. If the flag comes out as the player runs off, should they/could they just sprint back on to get the play stopped? Could half the team run onto the field and invoke no fighter penalty ?

This is the approach first pioneered in the NBA by the citizens of Lebronistan.

I really love penix. Loved penix in college. He's got that arm. Penix fires penetrating missiles all over the field. If he can stay upright, Penix can be great for a long time.

Who would win the Benoit Blanc inaugural "I can't believe that accent is coming out of that guy" award? I can't even think of an NFL player. In life: Idris Elba after I watched him for years as Stringer Bell.

This is what makes this year so awful.

He has a long, long way to grow before he can be a competent NFL QB. He's playing exactly the way you'd expect him to play if you watched him underachieve in college. If he doesn't learn to play QB, the excuses will eventually have to stop.

Is this the most miserable bears season in 40 years? It's at least the most disappointing

If God is merciful, the skies will open up and the game won't continue.

Totally agree. I think we should take away landing zone protection unless you actually land on the defender and you don't land forward of your takeoff. Also, 2 FTs on all shot attempts except in last 2 minutes.

Sure. But a lot of the federal government has been exempted from shutdown if that function is deemed essential. Much of what remains are functions that can create backlogs, missed payments, delays but not immediate damage. So depends on how long they hold a bridge repair, for example.

How about 2 FTAs on 3s except in last 2 minutes? Incentivize aggressively contesting the shot.

I appreciate the conversation with Cecelia Munoz. There's a border problem. It should be fixed. There's a humane-treatment-of-immigrants problem. It should be fixed. There's chaos in both. It should be fixed. Interest groups on either want maximalist approaches that typically fix neither.

yessir. These were literally dreams of our fathers and mothers. We talked about how each of us got to welcome them to our home. OUR home. And what that meant. The chance to afford this has gotten away from younger folks. This has to be the No. 1 thing we fix.

I didn't know about this. I'm going to have to reevaluate my relationship with your football commentary.

He's already not minding having a defensive lineman hitting him after 3 seconds. He might just like the pain.

I doubt they have the guts to do it, but what could the Lakers get back by trading AD - particularly to Houston or OKC?

There has to be a desecrated burial ground involved with this somewhere.

Just listened to the week 15 preview pod and picks. Steven, my brother, you got worked on that Jackson over. I just took the over at 44.5 at -115. Your over 62.5 should be like +200. If you win this, both Sheil and Diante should watch the crap game with a chihuahua while someone knocks on the door

I could have gained 7 or 8 yards with the hole, followed by a pulled hamstring and a concussion.

Agreed. I enjoyed watching. I kept thinking that I needed to go back to the actual game. Then I would and found that I really couldn't stand watching two teams play basically without stakes and demonstrating why that is so with play after play. It was more palatable in animated form.

When I watch The cowboys this year, I don't entirely get the sense that this team plays football for a living.
