My Venus fly trap spent a significant portion of the winter frozen solid in the garage. It's waking up! Last year I learned that if you keep them inside permanently, they will gradually wither and die from exhaustion. They are temperate plants and need winter sleep! I feel the same. 🌱

As Bluesky has grown, I've seen a lot of backsliding on alt text. Please try to be considerate to others and include alt text with all of your images. It helps everyone. Indeed, in the "accessibility" setting in Bluesky you can set it to make sure you add alt text, which is a useful thing to do.

I want to show you my old photos exactly as they are. I have Lightroom and I can easily adjust the colors, remove scratches, reverse them, etc. but I choose not to. If you want to play with them that’s fine but don’t tell me there is a “correct” or “incorrect” way to present them.
