Your efforts are hugely appreciated (and enjoyed). Don’t let the bastards grind you down!

Awesome stuff 👏

I don’t personally know any trans people but I’m 100% an ally. It’s appalling how fascists try to divide us. 🏳️‍🌈

Hmm, maybe I do want an Apple Watch after all. 🤔

Starmer isn’t appeasing Trump. He’s been clear that Gaza must remain for the Palestinians and taking about UK peacekeeping troops in Ukraine. But Trumple Thinskin is so easily played with a few well placed compliments, it would remiss not to try.

Did we attach huge sails and sail off into the Atlantic? I must have missed that.

A glimmer of hope! Surely healthcare can be reciprocal?

That seems unlikely while he’s degrading and diminishing the US so well on his own. “Never interrupt your enemy when they’re making a mistake.”

Hugely disappointing, but it doesn’t cancel the good things they have done or the rot they cut out of this country by defeating the tories. I do find the whole thing very frustrating, though. Surely SM&CU would bring the economic growth opportunities we clearly need? (Along with many other benefits)

I think we read books. I’ve seen them - they’re like loads of thin phone screens bound together. Quite clever really.

The landlord is also a fascist. A good reason to not be supporting his business.

Creepy and badly brilliant! Especially the tulips with their uncomfortable “openings”. Each to their own, I guess. 😃

Idiot. Unfollowed.

I don’t think so. Only the standard delivery cost would be refunded (free in this case), not an express delivery cost. Anyway, don’t listen to me. Martin will reply at 5pm. I’m no expert. 😀

Unless the item was faulty, the seller is only required to reimburse the cost of the item and standard delivery, which was free in this case. So just the £60 cost. That’s my expectation anyway.

I’m not sure “bipartisan” means promoting good and evil in equal measure. It means speaking truth to power, regardless of political allegiance.

This is a great app, but no bookmark system seems like such an obvious flaw. I like to scroll through when I have a few minutes and bookmark anything that I want to read when I have more time. It does seem like a simple thing to add. Come on @bsky.app , don’t let X have this advantage!

I guess he may split a few young “bro votes” away from Reform. I don’t see him achieving anything other than that, thankfully.

I’ve been in mobile gaming for nearly 20 years. (Recently moved to PC) Mobile was really creative at the start, with devs exited about what we could do with these new devices. Free to play has made it very difficult for other models to succeed. I’ve never seen the app stores so devoid of creativity.

That’s my cow. She’s called Bert.

She’s so dense I’m surprised nothing’s orbiting her head.

Bookmarks are desperately needed. (I know about the pin, but I don’t want to clutter posts with that.) Otherwise, I love this app.

The article makes lots of claims about numbers, but it is all disinformation unless we know how many polling stations did this. There should be a proper inquiry into to how this was allowed to happen. These number will be quoted by politicians as facts…
comment in response to post
I’ve no idea how many polling stations this happened at. It happened at mine, and I complained to the staff inside. But at stations where this did happen, I very much doubt people refused to be turned away, insisting on entering the polling station so the data can be collected.
comment in response to post
Okay, I’m not sure I have a future in headline writing, but you get the point.
comment in response to post
The article does make a small reference to people being turned away, but in my view it’s a huge scandal that’s not talked about. The headline should really be - “Councils use taxpayers’ money to pay for staff to turn away voters without ID in blatant attempt to corrupt election data”
comment in response to post
Many have just deleted their accounts and not deactivated them, so won’t be in a lot of this data. Don’t forget to deactivate before deleting!
comment in response to post
Where does that number come from? There were officials standing outside the polling stations turning back people without ID, to ensure there was no record of the numbers affected. It will be much higher than 16,000.

Will the bots know everyone’s left? Or will they continue to post their drivel for only other bots to read?

How well did it work out for Steve Bannon? 😅

I don’t think there’s a good reason to stay on X (in my humble view). Would you stay working on The Daily Mail hoping to change a few minds? Actually, maybe that wouldn’t be such a bad idea… Anyway, love your work…

I thought you were going to say this is how you feel after leaving Twitter/X! 😅
comment in response to post
It’s anything but X.. I’m using both since leaving that place. I think we’ll have to see how it goes. Which means twice as much work for you, I guess! But we do appreciate it.
