🚨 CBS News has received an internal NSA bulletin from Feb 2025 warning staff NOT to use Signal app for sensitive info, citing vulnerabilities to Russian hackers. These docs were sent pre-Houthi chat scandal with Jeffrey Goldberg.

Wow. Fox refused to put their longtime Chief National Security Correspondent on air since the Signal story broke because she has been honest on social media about it. www.mediaite.com/tv/fox-news-...

It was not just the little forced-out major but ALL those people on this Yemen call - too lazy or ignorant to go to a SCIF. They should all be immediately fired and all security clearances removed. This was not an 'oversight' it was a deliberate compromise of security

Complete nonsense from Mike Waltz who knows better. He likely thought he was inviting someone else with same initials and fucked up. Every 13 year old can grok this idiotic move.

For those who don't have enough outrage. If she had been a white man, she would be hailed a hero on the website. But because of the color of her skin and the fact that she is a woman, she will be erased from history. #USDemocracy

And take the entire group of idiots

According to a source I have at the CIA, Director Radcliffe lied today under oath. Signal is absolutely not loaded on agency computers. As a matter of fact it’s specifically prohibited as an outside app. Skype is allowed for conference calls but not Signal. He’s lying. @markwarner.bsky.social

Mike Waltz has now decided to roll out the story that Jeffrey Goldberg somehow hacked his way into their Signal chat. Just admitting a mistake and apologizing seems like a lot less work than lying and peddling a half dozen different conspiracies.

The only thing standing between Donald Trump and his authoritarian dream is the courts. But to defeat him, we need lawyers willing to litigate against him. Trump is trying to intimidate lawyers and law firms to stop fighting. At least for me, it won't work. I wear his scorn like a badge of honor.

MUST WATCH: The CIA spies on the entire world, but the moment they’re under oath, they suddenly have amnesia. That’s not a memory lapse—it’s a cover-up in real time. “I don’t recall” really means “If you knew what I knew, we’d all be in handcuffs.”

JUST IN: American Oversight is suing Hegseth, Gabbard, Ratcliffe et al, saying their messaging via Signal is a violation of the Federal Records Act. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren: "If Pete Hegseth had even a sliver of self respect and sense of honor, he would have already put his resignation on the president's desk. And if he's not willing to do that, then the President of the United States has a moral, and in my view, legal obligation to fire him."

Pete Hegseth must resign or be fired immediately.

Exactly the thing they do!

💯👇🏼

Surprising to hear that a government formed exclusively of a country’s most stupid people isn’t really working out.

Don't tell me that was the *only* time current members of the Department of Defense discussed top secret information on a public app. Vladimir Putin, a former KGB agent, remembers a time when the United States was run by competent people and wasn't so easy to snoop on.

This is the first of what I think are going to be A LOT of primary challenges along these lines.

Pete Hegseth never should have been tapped for this job. It's too important. He should be fired immediately.

📌The biggest problem isn't that Pete Hegseth is an under-qualified moron who is texting our military secrets to our enemies like some 15-year-old, blackout drunk. The problem is there is an entire anti-American, bought-off political empire on the Right that simply doesn't give a shit anymore ...

Goldberg indicates Hegseth lied when he denied texting war plans

Hegseth. Must. Resign. #ResignHegseth

If you want to deport someone…. You can add All of them to the list!

Don’t drink and text.

Good message

Buttigieg: What if this had, in fact, gone to somebody else? I mean, somebody who could plausibly be in some of these people's cell phones. I don't know, the Chinese ambassador or Russian negotiator. And the other question on my mind is how many other times has something like this happened?

As bad as the Houthi PC Group Chat is, and as bad as the DOGE stories leaking by the minute are...what's happening under the radar is so, so much worse.

“Wait guys, P. Hegseth is typing…”

Hey guys remember the Hillary Clinton email server? Seems kinda, small today, doesn’t it?

Goldberg said the level of detail in the targeting package that he received via Signal was down to the *names of individuals* to be killed. That’s the good stuff that includes all kinds of sources and methods and never should have been outside a SCIF. I’d be in prison if I fucked up that bad.

Any member of the military who did what they did on signal would be kicked out or arrested.

Collins: Do you think someone should be fired over this? Buttigieg: Absolutely… if there’s not accountability for a screw up like this, especially from a president who used to fire people on television for sport, what are we even doing here..

Anyone who thinks Pete Hegseth will resign doesn't understand TrumpWorld. They have no shame. They have no introspection. They have no respect for consequences.

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

“Each of the outlets made a willful decision to forgo referring to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of Mexico. While it may have been performed in a subtle manner, make no mistake: It was still an act of submission.”

This is exactly what HAPPENED in GERMANY in the 1930s. People just disappeared into concentration camps

Hey, Politico -- I consider myself to have "long-term standing in the private legal community" and I have been willing to speak out almost every single day. And, I'm not alone. Yes, there is widespread cowardice among law firms, but don't ignore those refusing to bow down. Defiantly, Marc Elias
